Note: The tour is over, the guys had a BLAST playing for all of you. However, we haven't had a post since March but meanwhile I've had tons of spammers try to pollute over here. So I've disabled posting to the forums. If they tour again, you can be sure we'll open the forums back up. In the mean time, for some great bass discussion you can head over to http://www.talkbass.com. - Thanks!

Thanks for the great show!!! It rekindled my respect for the bass as more than an instrument for backing up half crazed guitar players. This was the second time I’ve seen Jeff Berlin play up close. I wondered into a music store in the early 90’s back in Omaha Nebraska where he was giving a workshop. His style was just as good back in the day. I’ve also wanted to see Stu play ever since I first heard his motorized pop slap action on one of Joe Satriani’s tunes. Now I feel complete. However, I’ve never seen anyone rip up the bass like Mr. Sheehan. Seeing all three on the same stage up front and close was an awesome experience.

What was even more awesome was how approachable these guys were after the show. Seeing Billy Sheehan run outside to sign an autograph for some kid who had to leave because he was under 21 really made me see that these guys were regular guys with extraordinary talent.

My son (Bass player from Vax Lavala) said he enjoyed the entire show esp. hearing the jazz styles of Jeff Berlin.

Again, thanks for the BX3 experience!!!

Hope to see something like this again.
